CRUISING TIPS

The sea, immense and evocative, can be the backdrop for magnificent adventures, as long as you always respect it. This series of tips is nothing more than a small guide to fully enjoy a day sailing around the coast and experience the environment around you in total safety.

In ports, piers, tourist marinas and in all crowded bays, the speed to keep is 3 knots.

The bathing areas, dangerous areas or areas forbidden to navigation always have buoys that enclose them, or clearly recognizable signs placed on buoys. Therefore it is forbidden to cross these borders with your own boat.

You can access a beach only and only if there is a launch lane that allows it. All this must be done with the engine switched off, and the boat, after having unloaded everything necessary and letting people get off on board, must be brought back outside the bathing area bounded by the buoys, anchored to the seabed safely, and can swimming the point where you want to go.

If you spot another boat with a course converging to yours, or in front of us, always choose to turn to the right, as the other vessel will also opt for this choice, having precedence who, as in a car, keeps the right free.

During navigation, you must always keep an impeccable conduct, pay attention to everything around us and know how to evaluate the maneuvers before undertaking them.

Always check the fuel level according to the tour you are taking, and if necessary, refuel the vehicle to be sure of being able to return to the port.
